Briseadh na Bealtaine - May Break

April 29, 2015

Active Schools Week is well underway with all pupils and múinteoirí participating. Laps of a jogging route around the school is underway daily with the aim of running a marathon collectively. Co-ordinated by múinteoir Eibhlín. Tá ag eirí go geal leis. Encourage your child to get some exercise daily. Eochaill is fortunate to have a wide variety of sporting clubs, but our children need to be encouraged to join them. We also have great walking trail, natural amenities such as a glorious beach, the Comeragh Mountains to explore and a coastline which is at our doorstep. Let’s all get active and feel more alive.

Sciath na Scol matches are ongoing involving travel, time and personnel. Buiochas le Alf, Eoin, Ailbhe agus Barra.

An Chéad Chomaoine takes place ar An Satharn 9ú Bealtaine agus An Comhneartú on 14ú Bealtaine. Practice makes perfect and preparations for these sacraments are in ‘full swing’ with their respective múinteoirí Eibhlín, Caoimhín agus Caitríona.
Cór agus ceol form an integral part which is conducted by múinteoir Jean. Cabhair agus an-obair ar suil insan oifig ag rúnaí Áine, leis na leabhráin (booklets).
A special effort is made for these special days in our pupils spiritual journeys.

Rang VI are being brought to An Ghaeltacht in May for three days. Buíochas to all who supported their bag-packing day. Bhí siad an ghaelach agus an chabhrach.

Lots of positive activities are on going at school to enhance your child’s education and mould their personalities. Tá an t-ádh leo, buíochas le Dia.
