Bronnadh an Gradam Feabhais san Eolaíocht agus sa Mhata ar Ghaelscoil Choráin le déanaí. Rinneadh turgnaimh eolaíochta éagsúla i ngach uile rang i rith na bliana agus cuireadh logleabhar leictreónach le chéile den obair ar fad a bhí déanta. Nascadh ceachtanna mata leis na turgnaimh ar fad agus tugadh cuireadh d’aoichainteoirí chun teacht isteach chun obair an innealtóra agus obair an eolaí a phlé. Ghlac na múinteoirí páirt i gceardlainne eolaíochta freisin mar fhorairt ghairmiúil leanúnach. Bhí an tionscnamh iontach seo comhordaithe ag an bPríomh-Oide Caitríona Ní Riada. Award of Science and Maths Excellence for Gaelscoil Choráin
Gaelscoil Choráin were recently awarded the Award of Science and Maths Excellence. Every class in the school were involved in conducting science experiments throughout the year and an electronic log book of evidence was used to record all of the work involved. Suitable maths classes were integrated with the various science experiments and guest speakers were invited into the school to discuss the work of engineers and of scientists. The teaching staff also participated in a number of science workshops as part of their Continuing Professional Development (CPD). This wonderful project was coordinated by Príomh-Oide Caitríona Ní Riada. Congratulations to all of the school community on a wonderful achievement.
